Reasons why Ryan Ross is the Moon (fight me m8erinos)

-The moon is often described as the darker side of the relationship. Brendon is always more so happier than Ryan ross

-This one’s reallyy vague, but back in 2006/5, ryan used to do his eye makeup blue constantly & Brendon did his yellow— constantly. The sun & moon concept might’ve existed even back then

-The sun was always in her eyes, she didn’t even see me” -she had the world (written by Ryan Ross) Ya’ll… this may seem like Ryan is calling himself the sun, but if you do five seconds of research, you’ll find out that Ryan said that he made Pretty. Odd. in the perspective of whoever’s singing (please remember this throughout this list, very important)

-“I wandered through the sunshine remembering when you were mine” -Lonely moonlight (written by Ryan Ross) I don’t think I have to explain this

-“So curse everyone & everything, even the sun.” -Stall Me (written by Brendon Urie) Brendon’s saying “Curse myself.” And to make that even more believable, he said “EVEN the sun.” Implying that most people wouldn’t expect that he would blame himself. & he already said “curse everyone”, why would he need to say that twice unless of himself while he was being a salty asf ex…?

-“Hey moon, please forget to fall down, hey moon, don’t you go down” -Northern Downpour (written by Ryan Ross) it would make sense for Ryan to motivate himself into a relationship he desperately wants. We all know how all his past relationships worked out… not so well, and it’s definitely whatever happened in the past at home that provoked all these failing loves. So considering his past, Ryan wants JUST to fall in lust, or even love, and not mess up. (+, wouldn’t it be a LITTLE rude to say that to brendon? Lol)

-“The sun went down over my head. Another day lost with regret” -Lonely Moonlight (written by Ryan Ross) I feel like this one could go both ways, but more leaning towards Brendon as the sun. Why would ryan write this song about how lonely Brendon is…? He was already married when this whole album was released & ryan knew damn well

-“When the sun found the moon she was drinking tea in a garden” -When the day met the night (written by Ryan & Brendon) they’re implying that the lady (moon) was drinking tea while the man (sun) found her. This is pretty vague, but the sun and moon have always been Man & Female (in that order). At the time, Ryan was definitely more feminine than Brendon, so it would add up for me

"When the moon found the sun, he looked like he was barely hanging on. But her eyes saved his life in the middle of summer” -when the day met the night (written by Ryan & Brendon) part two for the one above this one

-"I’m not complaining that it’s raining I’m just saying that I’d like it a lot more than you’d think if the sun would come out and sing with me” -I have friends in holy spaces (written by Brendon Urie) I would change my mind if it weren’t for that first part of this lyric. Ryan doesn’t have anything to do with this line, because the rain is a metaphor for sadness. Brendon is complaining that things are hard right now, he just wishes his inner self would choose to be happy harder, considering happiness is a choice.

-"But there ain’t no sunshine in his song we must reinvent love” -mad as rabbits (written by Ryan Ross) (p.s., in this song, "his” is a fictional character) I feel as if this part also sings for itself… like I said earlier, since Ryan sung this part, its from his perspective— put the puzzle pieces together would ya?

So those are 11 reasons why, however, there are more. I’m sure you can find more by googling or something. Hope this concluded any arguments on whether the sun is ryan or Brendon :) I would understand why some people think Ryan is the sun, but that’s just not the case, hon ♡＾▽＾♡
